Charles Daly will be attending and exhibiting at the MAAC (Mid-Atlantic Arms Collectors) gun show September 6-7, 2008, at the Farm Show Arena in Harrisburg, PA.
This is the first time CD will attend a gun show where the public will be able to buy our firearms from us, through a local FFL, Sovereign Arms of Marysville, PA. We intend to have a full display of CD and CD Defense firearms for sale at this show.
We hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you there! :machinegun:

Mr. Kassnar,
I read somewhere that you get your lowers from DoubleStar in Winchester, KY. Is this true? If so, any plans for any shows in the Winchester or Lexington area?

True. Our AR's are built on DoubleStar lowers, machined by JV Precision in CT. (DS uses a few different machine shops to do their lowers. Ours are all done by JVP.)
As for shows in KY, we'll have to look at that. We have never done consumer shows before (other than NRA) where you sell to the public through a local FFL. The show in Harrisburg this September will be our first and I want to see how that goes for us.

If gas wasn't so darn high, I would be making a road trip to PA just to spend time at your booth. Hopefully, things go great for you and you attend many, many more.

I hope that show works out well for you, but even if it doesn't, don't give up on consumer shows until you come to one in Texas. Firearms in Texas are not just for personal defense or hunting, they are a symbol of a way of life that goes back to the Alamo, the Old West, and an individuals requirement to defend this state. I believe that the last estimate that I read about gun ownership in Texas was that 87% of all adults own at least one firearm, and I'd be willing to bet that most own more than one. That's a huge market to tap into with your CDD products because most people that I know here are not at all familiar with this new line. The Dallas and the Houston shows are the heavy hitters here. Just a little food for thought.

Hopefully this is a start of something good for your compnay. Word spreads fast around the gun boards so hopefully this will help get the word out about your AR's!

Depends on the $$$... No need to reserve any, I'll be in the door as soon as the show opens on Saturday.

As wierd as this sounds, It's probably a good thing that I don't live close enough to attend. ;)

We will have the Model 206 sample with us but unfortunately none for sale. The first commercial delivery of these will not be in the US until late October.

What a great day today at the Harrisburg show. We met recon, pa_guns from m1911.org, Harold Hecuba, and several other forum members. It was a pleasure to meet all of you in the flesh. Thanks for stopping by the booth.
Tomorrow is the 2nd and final day. I hope some more of you get the chance to stop by and visit (and buy something if you want)! :D
BTW, it seems the most popular items in our booth were the PMAGS. We sold a ton of them!

That was an interesting weekend for us. Saturday was pretty busy but Sunday was absolutely dead. I don't know if it was the beautiful weather outside that kept people away, or a lousy job done by the show promoters, but on Sunday you could go bowling down the aisles and not hit anybody.
We sold a few AR's, several Little Sharps rifles and a ton of PMAGS.
The best part was meeting the members of this Forum! :D

The best show for turnout at the Farm Show is in December. My bro stopped in on Sunday but missed you. He picked up an AR lower half and was very, very pleased with your product.
Keep up the good work!

Hello, this is Harold Hecuba's brother here. I picked up a lower Sunday and I'm very pleased with the quality. While waiting for my paperwork to process, I handled several of your AR's and they are indeed fine rifles.
I was sad that I missed meeting Michael in person but I was happy enough to pickup one of the lowers. Also, I didnt grab any PMags (forgot to stop back) but they were definately the best deal of the show.
Keep up the good work.
