Hey Mr K, while I appreciate the 'classified' area of the forums, I was thinking about thread where another member received his CD-D lower receiver. It was recommended that he not use a DPMS lower parts kit and you posted that he could get a $69 Charles Daly L.P.K.

But where does he buy it from?

I suspect he'll send you a PM and you'll work something out with him, but it seems to me that many people won't think of doing that.

So why not remove the burden from your back and simply have a "storefront" added. Perhaps linked to both the CD and CD-D websites, as well as linked to here.

I understand that you sell "accessories" at the regular websites, but there is no main index to search for parts. And that only seems to exist on the CD website but not on the CD-D website, which is laid out differently and doesn't have the "accessories" links.

So why not consolidate everything under a 'store' with a searchable index?

BTW, I'd really like to be able to buy an "M4BE" upper to match up to one of my CD-D lowers!

Ditto. I have asked about this one too, but alas, it is only available through Bangers Dist.

I think the store front is a splendid idea. Even if it doesn't have the ability to "check out", we could see what items are available and a what prices. We could then just call CS with the product number and order.

We will be adding "shopping cart" software to the CD Defense website and to this forum. One will be a mirror of the other.

When it is ready, it will include stripped and complete uppers, various upper and lower parts kits, grips, quads, sights, optics, etc. In addition to our own components we will be offering products from Magpul, Daniel Defense, Midwest Industries, Ergo, Trijicon, Meprolight and many more.

Bear with us a little longer and we will have a really great "store" for you. In the meantime, we will have to put up with this antiquated system of posting and telephone calls. Sorry...:o

This would only be a problem if your Customer Service people weren't so damn nice! Now I'll have to call just to say hello, instead of placing orders. :D
