Local dealers who stock CD's?

Does anyone, anywhere have a local dealer that carries CD's? I sure can't find one. I think it's because it would cut into their Colt, Kimber etc. sales. Maybe not enough profit margin.

Where are you located? Do you mean in stock-like you want to go in an be able to pick one up and see what it feels like? I can see that point, because any dealer, FFL can order any CD gun from a distributor. Have you called around to the dealers in your area? Do a gun search thru Gun Locator? Call CD Customer Service to see if they have a list of local CD stocking dealers? Or wait for MR K to come around from his 20 other forums.

I'm located in central Illinois and I haven't found one at any dealer(storefront) within 60 miles of me and since I'm retired, I do get around a little. In fact, I can't remember ever seeing an inexpensive(base model) mil spec 1911 in any of the shops I've been to. I have seen a lot of $800-$1200 1911's, wonder why?:)

Maybe more profit, but that's just a wild guess on my part.

this is where i go jay an tarren have always taken care of me he has ALOT !!!of guns . he has i think a complete line of charles daly firearms try them if you are looking for something if he doesnt have it i am sure he can get it

CD pistols are drying up out there. As regular visitors here know, we discontinued producing our 1911's in the Philippines earlier this year and the new Israeli ones won't start shipping until November.

and i know they have 2 blued .45 and one stainless and a .40 cal that keeps wanting to follow me home on display..:rolleyes:

I don't have any CD dealers close to me either, which was a pain when I wanted to buy my first Black Rifle. I had used Davidson's in the past, but one of our police officers here turned me on to Gun Genie which is associated with Davidsons, but their prices are often lower on many firearms. I used them to buy my CDD-M4. I was extremely happy with their service and I saved $70 by using them over some other distributors.

they really have a great selection, and as of this tuesday i started working there part time.
so if you are looking for something and don't see it i can ask.

i have been doing inventory and we have ANY !!! charles daly model you would want and plenty of them.
i know they are on gun broker plus they have there own website.
on a side note i got to clean, test fire and put out for sale a .50 cal desert eagle it took 3 hours to get rid of the smile on my face :o
that is the first one i have ever had in my hand WOW!!!!!!!

We still have a few Commanders in stock, but not many. Our new shipment of Government and Ultra-X (both 9mm and .45) is not here yet. I have been pushing Bul but they have some problems that producers always have. We finally got the licensing straightened out (that took almost 4 months) and now, when they go to assemble, they find that they are missing a critical spring or pin, or something that prevents them from being able to finsih, test fire and ship. I remind them almost every day how many sales we are losing. I hope to have some news for the forum members soon and as soon as I do, the Forum will hear it first.

i finaly was able to talk to jay and we do have probabley have at least 5 of the m-5, to be honest i wasnt even sure what they were till i talked to jay but i have been stareing at one in the cabnet and i know there is at least 4 more in the stock room....
