We got our first snow today in KS and it was maybe only a couple of inches but it was still snowing. Anyways I got off work this morning and headed home as fast as I could before the snow started falling b/c I knew the birds would be out early...My buddies already had the trailer pulled up to the field we were hunting and actaully had everything setup..(which was kind of nice to be able to just show up and hunt without having to set everything up....come to think of it, they should do that more often since I supply all the decoys and other stuff, but anyways) and within 5 minutes of getting settled in the blind and teasing my buddy who shoots the Benelli if his gun was going to freeze up again (See Thread labeled CD outperforms Bennelli:) ) the geese were moving in...the first group had about 50 some geese in it and I flagged a little bit and then called for about 15 seconds and they LOCKED UP TIGHT and dropped right down about 15 yards from us...when all 7 of us popped up out of our blinds we dropped 14 geese...the first one I dropped did a backflip when I hit em with the BB's I was shooting and the other two I dropped just made loud thuds as they hit the ground (such a great sound it is to). Before we had a chance to pick up the dead geese we had a group of atleast 1500+ Mallards locked up on us (Without a doubt the most amazing site I have ever seen in all my years of duck hunting.....I'm getting chills right now just thinking about it) and they dropped just as hard as the geese did and we laid into them after about 3/4's of the group had landed. We let them land b/c it was one of those "Don't come along very often" sites in waterfowl hunting. Anyways after only an hour of hunting we had killed 7-man limits of Ducks (35-All Mallard Drakes) and a 7-man limit of Geese (21). I would post pictures, but the camera got dropped out of my blind bag and ruined b/c of the snow (My sister is going to be pissed when I tell her:mad: ).

I want to thank Charles Daly for making such a great gun that has lasted me 6 years of waterfowl hunting in some of the nastiest weather and I have never had a problem with it....thanks for such a great product (I say this b/c 2 of the guys hunting had their guns messing up today b/c of the weather - they had Stoegers I believe) thanks again Charles Daly for a great product.

Also I was curious if there was any Charles Daly decals I could buy or could get a couple of as I would love help spread the word about CD and their great products.

That is one awesome Daly hunt story!! Sounds like you had a great hunt and with the others freezing up the Daly stayed operable :D

As far as the stickers it has been brought to the main man's attention before and I think he was in the process of checking into getting some..

Once again great story of your 14 snows hunt!

What an amazing hunt!

Glad to hear Sir Charles was once again, up to the task.

At least you weren't out there long enough to get too cold. ;)
