Got the chance to slip away from work to Far West Texas for 48 streight hour's of Javilina and Predator Huntin.Had a great time but man I'm tired now.
While my rifle isn't a CD it is an AR15 in caliber 6.5 Grendel :D
Ammo used was handload's using the 100gr Nosler Partition I haven't chronoed them yet but in 90+ deg temp's they'll do

Beautiful! I like what I hear/read about the 6.5G, so much so that we've decided to add one or two to our lineup.

Great new's if I might suggest I'll go along with stanc's recomendation (except the UBR that's ugly :D) on the Grendel forum which would be an 18in chrome lined 4140bbl, I've found that length to be possibly the better compromise between the 16 and 20 in bbl length's.
The High end model's are well represented by AlexanderArms,JP,Les Bauer, and Saber what it need's is a chevy that everybody can afford.

The same can be said of the 6.8SPCII IMHO

I'm encouraged that there may be a hole in the market for us to fill. If we can build a Cadillac for the cost of a Chevy (well, maybe a souped up Chevy), I think there may be a home for us.

Is a 4150 (MIL-B-11595E, CrMoV Grade) not as important to you as it is to the M4 guys?

Thanks again for your feedback on the project.

No to me it isn't,I don't run and gun with my Grendel.

IMHO 4150 is important if you are gonna put out a large volume of fire.I have a 5.56 for runnin&gunnin ammo is much cheaper for it.
In most hunting situation's your only gonna get 3 shot's at anything.

I would put the 6.8 in 4150 for the m4 bunch

This is only my opinion though (it's worth what you payed for it :D)
